Who we are

Portraitly is operated by Talos Group LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company, PMB 1255, 1235 East Blvd, Ste E, Charlotte, NC 28203. Questions: use our contact page.

What we collect

Your email address, the photos you upload, the portraits generated for you, and payment records (handled by Stripe; we never see card numbers).

How photos are used

Uploaded photos are sent to our AI provider (fal.ai, running Google and Black Forest Labs models) solely to generate your portraits. They are not used to train models by us.

Emails

We send sign-in links, receipts and order updates. We may also send a few reminders: an unfinished portrait, a seasonal idea, or a referral link after a purchase. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link; sign-in and order emails continue.

Retention

Original uploads are deleted 30 days after upload. Previews of portraits you did not unlock are deleted after 90 days. Unlocked portraits are kept until you delete your account.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data from the Account page at any time. Contact us through the contact page (also linked in the footer) for any request.

Services we use

Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), fal.ai (image generation), Anthropic (an automated quality check that compares each generated portrait with its base painting), Resend (email), and Prodigi (printing and shipping; receives your shipping address and the print file when you order a print).
